چکیده
This study examined the effects of injectable vitamin and trace element combination during transition period on clinical-biochemical parameters reproductive performance in Brown Swiss dairy cows. Sixty multiparous cows were randomly allocated two groups as element-vitamin treated (n=30) control (n=30). Animals received four injections at beginning dry period, 21 days before parturition, day postpartum 30±5 days. Energy, protein, hepatic metabolism markers, blood mineral levels concentrations measured -7±4 antepartum, 3±2 days, postpartum. Genital tract examinations performed Treated showed lower glucose, total urea, greater NEFA concentration relative to calving. Effect serum calcium phosphorus significant. The pregnancy rate was 95.8% 59.09%, treatment respectively 150 (P<0.05). In conclusion, supplementation increased significantly positively affected energy, ion metabolism, function.

Impacts of Metabolism and Nutrition During the Transition Period on Fertility of Dairy Cows
In early postpartum, high-producing dairy cows undergo a period of extensive tissue catabolism because of negative nutrient balance. Metabolic unbalances can lead to diseases, which are known to depress fertility in dairy cows. Negative nutrient balance has been associated with compromised immune and reproductive functions in dairy cows, and a compromised immune system leads to greater risk of ...

the possible relationships between trace elements, oxidative stress and subclinical ketosis during the transition period were evaluated in dairy cows. blood samples were obtained by jugular venipuncture at four times of the transition period: 3 weeks and 1 week before and 1 week and 3 weeks after calving. the highest concentrations of malondialdehyde (mda) and betahydroxybutyrate (bhb) were obs...
